USCCB Consultation in D.C.
It is an honor and privilege to continue to serve as a consultant to the Committee on Laity, Marriage, Family Life and Youth and to attend again their bi-annual meeting in DC.
I am continually impressed by the excellent work being done through this Committee of the USCCB led by Archbishop Charles Chaput, OFM Cap, Archbishop of Philadelphia. Equally impressive is the work of the staff of the Secretariat of Laity, Marriage, Family Life and Youth, under the very capable and faithful leadership of Dr. Andrew Lichtenwalner, the Executive Director.
I keep the work of the Committee in my regular prayers and ask all those who read this blog to keep their work in your prayers as well. What they do is vital to the well-being of many individuals, couples, families, youth, our Church, and society. May God continue to guide and inspire the work of the Committee.
